Hi there! My name is Jesyka Bastelak, and if you’ve gotten this far, you are probably looking into hiring a Graphic Designer. So let me tell you a little bit about myself:
I am a Affiliate Registered Graphic Designer (RGD), having graduated from the Advanced Diploma program in Graphic Design at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario.
I balance my day job at Public Health Sudbury & Districts as Lead Graphic Designer (specializing in corporate branding, information design, long-term report designs, social media design, promotional design, and designing with accessibility in mind), with personal creative work, like freelance illustration, design, photography and an evolving love for costume creation and cosplay. I balance my own creative work by overloading myself with inspiration through my love of music, film, musical theatre, and comic books.
My passion for design comes from a need to bring innovation and creativity to every challenge I face. I strive to push boundaries and break down barriers to create not only the best, but also most effective concepts and designs, to drive a project or brand forward.
My design process never focuses on my creative desires or ego, and instead focuses on the strong foundation of conceptual development. I believe that every strong design is accompanied by an even stronger concept. My goal, in the end, is to create the most memorable idea represented by design.
